Val joined the organization in July of 2014 as program director with years of experience supporting those with medical conditions. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Val brings compassion and resource knowledge and coordinates all the programming of the foundation. In 2016, Val accepted the position of Executive Director of the foundation and while she continues to oversee programming, she now enjoys working more closely with the Delaware epilepsy community in a greater capacity.

Jennifer joined the organization in June 2016, runs the office and is happy to help point you in the right direction. Before her time at EFDE, she worked in various prestigious law firms in Philadelphia and in the Office of University Counsel at Temple University. Jennifer is passionate about helping people, and takes joy knowing she can make a difference in someone’s life. Community Educators

Cheryl Anderson – canderson@efde.org

Cheryl is a former teacher who lives in Lewes, Delaware. She joined the organization in 2011. Cheryl conducts training, education and outreach programs in Kent and Sussex Counties.

Colleen joined the organization in February 2018, after 25 years of work in healthcare regulation. Colleen is happy to now be working with several nonprofits including EFDE.  Epilepsy touched her family in 2014 and EFDE was one of the first phone calls she made. Colleen is thrilled to be part of the EFDE team now, and is conducting educational teachings in the teen epilepsy program in central Delaware among other presentations.
